Want to be featured in the Dragon Bone Publishing Journal? We have spaces for author interviews, book promotions, and a place for freelancers and small presses to promote their resources to interested authors for free.

Please read all rules before signing up for interviews, paid promos, or the resource page. Promotional submissions will open in 2024 for the 2025 issue of the Journal.

Rules for Interviews and Promotions
We have a limited number of spaces available for interviews and freelance promotions. Candidates are not accepted by first come first serve. We will select candidates by careful review of if they align with procedure and the quality of their content.
Interviews
Sign-ups for being interviewed in the magazine are open to all authors and writers.
Guests will not be accepted first come first serve. We reserve the right to refuse to interview anyone we do not wish to interview.
Dragon Bone Publishing reserves the right to terminate the interview at any point in time.
Guests will be required to sign a contract stating that Dragon Bone Publishing has the right to publish their interview. If they wish to retract their interview, they may do so any time before the issue their interview is in is published. If they wish to terminate their contract, there will be a fee of $30 to compensate Dragon Bone Publishing's time and work.

This is a free, non-paid promotion.
Resources
Sign-ups for being a featured resource are open to all freelancers including but not limited to: editors, formatters, graphic designers, artists, cover designers, beta readers, photographers, etc.
Freelancers will not be accepted first come first serve. We reserve the right to refuse to promote anyone we do not wish to promote.
Dragon Bone Publishing reserves the right to terminate the promotion at any point in time.
Freelancers will be required to sign a contract stating that Dragon Bone Publishing has the right to publish their promotion. If they wish to retract their promotion, they may do so any time before the issue their interview is in is published. If they wish to terminate their contract, there will be a fee of $10 to compensate Dragon Bone Publishing's time and work.

This is not for authors wishing to market their books. It is also not for artists wishing to market specific pieces of art or other creations and merchandise.
Promotions
Promotions are open to anyone wishing to promote their books, merchandise, art, etc.
Promotions will include a 100-word or less blurb, a cover image, the author's name, and where readers can find their books.

We reserve the right to refuse to promote anyone we do not wish to promote. If we refuse promotion before publication of the material, all previously paid money will be fully refunded.
Dragon Bone Publishing reserves the right to terminate the promotion at any point in time.
The person desiring to be promoted will be required to sign a contract stating that Dragon Bone Publishing has the right to publish their promotion. If they wish to retract their promotion, they may do so any time before the issue their promotion is in is published. If they wish to terminate their contract, there will be a fee of $20 to compensate Dragon Bone Publishing's time and work.
