Effie Joe Stock (she/her)
Effie Joe Stock, founder of Dragon Bone, is passionate about small authors and bookstores and dedicated to curating a collection of deep literature for all ages. She is the author of The Shadows of Light series and wears many hats for Dragon Bone Publishing including editor, cover designer, formatter, and social media manager.

Micah J. Anthony (they/them)
MJ Anthony is a queer, trans, and disabled poet + storyteller. Some days they are incapacitated by one (or more) of their disabling conditions. Other days they get to be a caretaker at a local community library, write funky little spec-fic stories, and co-run Dragon Heart Press with their friend Nathaniel Luscombe. All of those days find them living in Boston with their wife, three cats, and a lovely leopard gecko named Tumbleweed.

Dragon Bone Journal Editor/Compiler
Sera Amoroso (she/her)
Sera Amoroso is the self-published author of The Makria Cycle. She's also an editor, linguist, English graduate student, cosplayer, tea enthusiast, and avid reader. She spends most of her time at home with her dog, Minnie. Torsion, her debut novel, kicks off The Makria Cycle series. She's also been featured in the anthology Aphotic Love and is now the compiler and editor in chief for the Dragon Bone Journal.

Nathaniel Luscombe (he/him)
Nathaniel Luscombe is an author and publisher from Ontario, Canada. He’s known for his existential writing, fun mashups of speculative genres, and making everything cozy (even horror). His most popular work is his science-fantasy novella Moon Soul. When he’s not writing, he’s busy co-running Dragon Bone Publishing and Dragon Heart Press.

Bookstore Ambassador
Hannah Bodio (she/her)
Hannah Bodio is a professional yapper from Portland, Oregon. She’s an avid reader of fantasy/romance/sci-fi/everything else. She’s passionate about supporting authors and bookstores. As a Portland girly, she strives to be as weird as possible. She loves collecting trinkets, hobby hoarding, and obsessing over dinosaurs, unicorns, and sparkles.

Cheryl Maxon
Cheryl Maxon has proved herself an important part of our events and always does an incredible job advising our authors and setting up signings. She also plays a huge role in making sure Dragon Bone has the funds it needs.
